.I just registered at a great website called tineye.net, which allows you to upload an image or enter the url of it and it searches for duplicates on the internet. They won't find every copy of it because they only target certain sites, but I've been able to find several stolen DA artworks using their search engine. I encourage you to sign up and check your work. It's fast and easy.

I finally convinced my son, Shaun, to join deviantart. Please stop by his profile, when you have time, and say "Hi". He recently returned from a six week trip to visit his fiancee in India, and has been uploading photos from that trip to his gallery. I've picked a few of my favorites to feature below:
For those who say that fractal spirals are boring, I say that we have several artists here who have given a new twist to the old standard spiral. Some, like
, are so expert at coloring that they make the spirals jump out of the page and dance. Some, like 
, use spirals as part of a fractal scene. 
uses spirals to create a tunnel and give the fractal a 3D appearance. 
uses composition and rich textures and blending of layers to draw us into her partial spirals and makes us thirst for more. 
makes excellent use of negative space to give us a simply elegant spiral design. 
has become the master of combining Photoshop and fractal programs to create his beautiful fractal jewelry. I'm featuring these Inspiring Spirals in hopes that you will be encouraged to give a new spin to an old standard.
