Joy Among the Ashes

Made in Ultra Fractal 5. I've been thinking, lately, about how hard the holiday season can be when we've lost loved ones. My aunt died of cancer a few years ago, right before Christmas, and a pall hung over our celebrations for years. Our son just lost his father-in-law to the same disease. We found, though, that there was still joy to be had in being surrounded by our loved ones. My prayers are that others who have suffered loss can find that same joy.
