Dying Winter by rocamiadesign Dying Winter by rocamiadesign
Made in UltraFractal 5.
FULL VIEW PLEASE! There are details in this that cannot be seen in the preview image. Thanks for looking!

At last! Little League practices started today and the temperatures warmed up to the 50s. There was still a brisk wind blowing, but the snow was finally gone from the ground.

I'm afraid that I am hopelessly behind in thanking everyone who has faved my work, and I'm never going to be able to catch up, unless the US government comes up with a law lengthening the day. Until then, I want to thank all of you who comment on or fave my work. I truly appreciate everything you do. :rose:

I think the problem is when we have mostly one season. Coastal areas have mostly mild, rainy weather and that gets boring too. I wouldn't mind the snow if we got more variety. In Montana we have cold, snowy weather from late September through the end of May, then about two weeks of Spring in June, and the next two months are horrible hot and dry. I'd be happier with a little more mild weather in between the extremes.

You lucky things snow from September until May I am so jealous. I love cold weather, its been too hot here for me, not yet 70 degrees but I have had enough of it. I just don`t like later spring and summer, early spring up to april is ok but lately in the Uk we seem to have summer in April and may and then the next three months hot and very wet, but i would rather have it wet than dry because at least its better with my hayfever. I think i would love to live in a cold part of Canada or Northern Europe.

If I had to choose between hot all the time or snow, I'd definitely go with snow. I melt in the heat. If you have hay fever, Canada would be a good place to live. I used to have terrible hay fever when I lived in California, but I rarely get it here in Montana, and we're only about 50 miles from the Canadian border.

Somewhere in the interior of the Winter Palace, perhaps?

Early in 1917.

Thank-you, Josette! I think gracefully is the best way for it to go away. Too much of a fight leaves us reeling with the storms and too little leads to flooding.
